As part of the Nokia Nseries, referred to by Nokia themselves as a "multimedia computer range", the Nokia N93 is the first mobile phone to not only have a 3.2 Megapixel camera but also be capable of full-screen (640x480) video recording at a full 30 frames per second! Taking the clam-shell design a step further, the main camera is built into the top of the phone by the hinge. The barrel-shape area at the top allows for a 3x Optical Zoom using a Carl Ziess lens, giving excellent stills-camera ability. The hinge connects on just the right side, behind the camera and allows for a secondary motion to flip the screen to the side. Hold the phone side-on whilst doing this and it becomes like a miniature video camera, and that is exactly what you have got. Using the miniSD slot with a maximum 2GB card gives you enough storage for 90 minutes of full-screen, full-motion video, a first for any mobile.
